About Ryan C. Merritt.

First and foremost, I want to thank you for visiting my website. I hope you find the information on this site both useful and easy to understand. My main goal was to build a website dedicated to technology, and server security and then to present the information within it, in such a way that even the most “computer-illiterate” person could understand and follow it.

My name is Ryan Merritt, and I am a System Administrator I have always been into computers for as long as I can remember, I built my first web server running Red Hat 6.2 (Zoot) and started my first web hosting company in April of 1999 at the age of 15, I became totally obsessed with servers and computers at a very young age. At the age of 16 I started developing my own web hosting control panel that I named Vpanel, it started out as a very simple script I could use it to add new user accounts, setup email accounts, change passwords, and many other things. I developed a end user-version so that my customers could login change their passwords, add email accounts, I added a web based file manger, and an automated cgi script center with the click of a button you could install a handful of cgi scripts that would be fully configured out of the box.
